The Belomo 10-power loupe (pronounced "loop") has exceptional
quality and, despite a recent price increase by the manufacturer, is
still lower-priced than other name brands of comparable quality. In
our opinion, the Belomo loupe is actually the superior loupe.

We must emphasize that the Belomo is a true triplet magnifier
with glass optics.
It has outstanding optical quality. Viewable lens diameter is 19 mm
- giving a wide field of view (the actual lens is about 21 mm diameter
including the part obscured by the lens housing.)
Once you try the Belomo, you may want to buy a couple more
of them to keep around! You'll find countless objects to study
through its clear, sharp field of view: minerals, gems, plants, insects, fossils,
coins, stamps, prints, artifacts, and more. The first tool we recommend
for any micromineral collector, serious or casual, is one of these loupes.

Update 4/2009 After several price increases by the factory, the last time we checked the suggested price was $34.95 each. This is probably their third or fourth price increase. As a result, we have stopped carrying this item in our catalog, at least for the time being. We do not know if/when we will decide to sell it again. We have no further information about this item.

Clips onto the upright post of the Belomo (sold separately) so you can carry it around your neck on field trips, etc. Strap is 3/8" wide. Choose from Royal Blue or Black nylon:

Carry Case / Pouch: we're sorry, but the Belomo does not include one. We do not currently have a source of these. Belomo does not make one. Many customers use the lanyards we sell (pictured above) to carry their Belomo.
