Hardman® 04002 epoxy in "Double-Bubble"™ packages
Hardman Yellow* or 04002 is used for patching, bonding, and filling scratches or voids in metal, wood, and hard plastic tooling. It can be machined, sanded, drilled, and tapped. It has the highest heat resistance of the Hardman epoxy line (300 Fahrenheit max. service temp.) It should be considered electrically conductive due to its aluminum-filled composition.

Single-use packages consist of resin and hardener that are squeezed out and mixed together immediately prior to use; work time is about 25 minutes at room temperature. Sold in lots of 1 dozen single-use packages or in cartons of 100 single-use packages .
Each packet contains about 3.5 grams of epoxy (net wt.).
Uncured residue can be removed with isopropyl alcohol. This epoxy sets completely within about 24 hours.

Surface preparation: Surfaces to be glued should be free of oil, grease, and dirt. Metals are best prepared by roughing the surface with fine sandpaper and cleaning with acetone or alcohol before gluing.
Cleanup: Uncured epoxy residue can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.
Safety: Do not use this or any adhesive to glue objects that could cause injury if the bond were to fail. Wear protective gloves while handling the uncured epoxy. Work in a well-ventilated area. Do not ingest epoxy or get it in the eyes.
Storage: store between 50 and 80 F. The lower end of the temperature range gives somewhat better shelf life. As with other epoxies, don't store in extreme cold or the material may crystallize.
Color and consistency: this epoxy is aluminum-filled, so it will have a metallic-gray appearance. It has the consistency of heavy syrup when uncured.
