Calcite- White Pigment Quarry, York County, PA. Large (ca. 10 cm) transl. to transp. honey-tan calcite xtl with smaller xtls on matrix. Shows some imperfections and interior fracture planes (natural origin!), but overall this is a beautiful display specimen from a locality that's not represented in most collections. Descloizite - Berg Aukus, Grootfontein, Namibia (formerly South West Africa). Numerous, shiny xtls to 4 mm sprinkled abundantly on a carbonate matrix. Excellent display piece- much nicer in real life than in photo. Approx. 7.5 x 8.5 x 4.5 cm, ship. wt. 1.5 lb (0.68 kg). From an old collection; underside has remnants of paste-glue where specimen was previously affixed to a foam base.

Quartz - New Britain, CT. Two sharp, clear quartz
crystals nestled among countless, smaller quartz xtls (making this a good
specimen for microscope viewing as well). Specimens from this locality seem
unusual on the market. This one is quite attractive, too- the photos don't do
it justice.

Schorl (Na / Fe Tourmaline) - Gilgit, Pakistan. Choice miniature of black schorl xtls to ca. 1.5 cm on matrix; most show good terminations. Very nice!

Schorl / Dravite (Tourmaline) - Yinnietharra, Western Australia. Large, doubly-terminated black tourmaline crystal in matrix. Excellent condition, shiny prism faces. The crystal is approximately 3 inches (8 cm) long and ca. 3 cm (1"+) in diameter.
The termination on the larger end is dull and bumpy
due to natural growth in the mica schist. The termination on the
smaller end is more sharply defined and is shown
in this photo. This specimen requires a small stand, easel, or
block to stand up properly. It is, nonetheless, an excellent and showy
piece!

Tetrahedrite, Rhodochrosite, & Quartz - Casapalca, Peru.
A good sm. CAB specimen having abundant crystals of gray, metallic tetrahedrite with white aggregates of rhodochrosite and frosty white xtls of quartz. Much to see on this specimen- several ways to display it.
The tetrahedrite xtls are well-defined, although there is some minor erosion on some corners. Close inspection of these suggests most of the losses are actual incomplete or eroded areas, not dings which would arise from rough handling.
Ship wt. 1 lb. The side shown is approx. 2" x 1 1/4". Largest crystal is about 1/2" in maximum dimension.
