The Observer II is a student-grade compound microscope of superb quality and low price. It is parcentered (meaning that, once the subject is centered in the field of view, you can switch objective lenses and it will still be centered) and parfocal (meaning that, once you focus on the subject with one lens, you can switch objective lenses and it will still be in focus).
