Support Ring with Clamp - made to be clamped onto the upright rod of C140 or C150 to make a "ringstand". Certain glassware should also be supported with an extension clamp or burette clamp to prevent spillage.
A wire gauze
should be used when heating glassware with an open flame such as a Bunsen
burner. A 3" support ring is good with a 4" wire gauze, a 4" ring
is good with 5" wire gauze, and so forth.
The support ring and clamp are zinc-plated cast iron. The set screw
is nickel-plated steel. These rings are designed to clamp onto an
